Having been in the industry since the 1970s, Rumet was founded as a company operating in the recovery of non-ferrous metals. The entire Rumet headquarters was confined to a building in via Monte Pasubio in Castenedolo, which today is the portion of a depot with offices and a warehouse, and then expanded into two other buildings with offices, one of which has been recently rebuilt.
Over the years, Rumet’s supplier base has been meticulously selected and we have considerably increased our number of partners, thus allowing us to supply an ever-broader (also carefully selected) clientele.
All without compromising on the quality of the service offered, dealing with not only Italian customers and suppliers but also all over Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia.
The development of the company has led to an extension of the plants over the past 10 years, which now also include all the depots adjacent to those of the original headquarters, with offices and two warehouses over a total of over 4,000 square metres of grounds.
This physiological evolution of the corporate core-business has led our company to deal with an ever-broader range of non-ferrous materials and metal alloys. Today, in fact, the catalogue of metals marketed includes any type of metal with the exception of iron and aluminium.
In order to internalise more and more phases of the treatment of materials and offer a fast and efficient service, Rumet is constantly involved in the expansion of its fleet of machines which today includes: 4 spider excavators, 1 press, 1 screening machine, 2 portals to control the radioactivity of the material and 1 long weighing platform.
The strength of Rumet is certainly the economically sound clientele with very high solvency rates that allow our company to be reliable and fast in payments to suppliers.
Our know-how and experience gained over the years, however, allow us to understand precisely the needs of our customers and consequently be effective in the research and supply of materials of the right quality.
